Thankyou for choosing the Campus Rangers page.

What is Campus Rangers ?

Children and staff who get involved in looking after the outside areas of our school grounds.

What does this mean?

It involves, gardening, recycling, improving the facilities to aid learning outside and making it fun.

We meet every friday afternoon 2.15pm - 3pm

Teams are formed at the beginning of each school year and plans and aims are discussed. This is a popular activity. To ensure each child is safe and well supported only children in key stage two classes are involved.

Autumn into Winter

Campus Rangers have been very busy.A mild September and October meant we spent a lot of time outdoors, tiding flower beds, prunning bushes and shrubs, collecting cut grass and leaves for the compost bin.

In November we received a delivery of 30 Shrubs and tree saplings. The children planted these into containers, once they have grown stronger they will be added to the copse close to Chippenham Road.

January came and brought a mixture of weather so we moved indoors. Campus Rangers turned their time and energy to planning a recycling campaign which involves the support from the rest of the school and adds more ingredients to the compost bin. They designed posters, wrote to Mr Connolly and staff, investigated how much waste we throw away that can be recycled and investigated how recycling helps our earth.
