Welcome Back!

Same Classroom, Same Teacher, BIG Changes!

You guys are now the oldest children in the school and with this comes some great responsibilites and opportunities.

Are you ready for the challenges ahead?

Lets make this year something special!

I hope you have all had a great holiday. I did! I spent time in Devon visiting the village by the sea which i grew up in, had a go at sailing and even visited my first primary school!

I'm really looking forward to seeing you all again and seeing how much you've all grown.

See you bright and early on Tuesday.

Our new Science topic is Interdependence and Adaptation.. What's that?

Interdependence - We will be looking at how  everything in nature is connected to everything else; what happens to one plant or animal also affects other plants and animals.

Adaptation - Looks at how animals and plants change to better suit their habitat.

My favourite place in the whole world is AUSTRALIA and it has some of the world's most amazing and unusual plants and animals so it makes a perfect new topic!

If you want to watch some FANTASTIC dvd clips of how Australian animals have adapted to the extreme Australian climate, click on the picture of the Koala above. The clips on the Eucalyptus tree and the Red Kangaroo are the best.

I can't wait to get started on this amazing topic!
