Glade Hill Primary School

Glade Hill school aims to provide a happy, secure and challenging learning environment to help prepare our children for the opportunities, responsibilities and changes that they will meet during their school and adult life.

Through a high quality curriculum which is broad, balanced and relevant, we aim to enable children to develop their interests, to widen their knowledge, skills and understanding. We ensure success for every child, helping them feel confident in themselves and able to move on to new challenges. We help children to develop intellectually, morally, culturally, spiritually, and physically. Above all we aim to ensure that every child has equal access to the curriculum enabling them to meet targets that are challenging but realistic.

Our 0 to 5 year olds have an amazing play space that will feed their curiosity and imagination.This photo shows just part of the exciting play space- just look at the unique design of the water play!

We foster and promote positive relationships amongst everyone at Glade Hill School. We actively encourage children to be polite, well mannered, cooperative and honest. children are helped to become self-disciplined, independent learners who show care consideration and respect for others.

We want our children to give their best, to take pride in their achievement, in the content and the presentation of their work. We want them to work through "the best days of their lives" with a sense of enjoyment and satisfaction.

Shine Performance and attendance awards

Shine is a national youth festival that celebrates the talent and achievement in all young people. At Glade Hill we hold an annual Shine event to share what each class has been learning throughout the year and to showcase some of our children's hidden talents. The event will include musical contributions, poetry, film, dance, ICT, and many more. It is a chance for our children to finish their school year on a high!
